Arc
Paul Graham has released his Lisp dialect Arc. I am underwhelmed. It’s basically a standard Lisp with some syntactic sugar. There are already too many Lisp dialects. Hell, there are too many implementations of Common Lisp and Scheme, the two main Lisp dialects. Do we really need yet another one?

Hear Hear
It’s what I thought. From the motivation by P Graham minself, I was really expecting something a lot better…

What a relic: Arc is ASCII-only, built-in HTML layout based on tables. The guy doesn’t know what is going on. Give me Python with an AJAX library any day.
